Sole F80 Treadmill Review: The Sole F80 Rated Best In Its Class

by Torri Tompson

When I found out that the Sole F80 was the treadmill choice of the Hilton Hotels and many other upscale establishments, I wanted to see why. I knew if high-end establishments have put their stamps of approval on a machine it had to be an excellent piece of exercise equipment.

When I first saw the machine, the word that came to my mind was: solid. The Sole F80 may not appear to have all of the bells and whistles of other machines, but it is a commercial-quality machine. And, looks can be deceiving. The Sole F80 has six workout programs, speed and incline controls on the arm rests, cooling fans and built in speakers for iPODS or MP3 players. Speed, time, incline, calories burned and distance are all shown throughout the workout, which means no button pushing during a workout to see your results!

The Sole F80 is a solid treadmill. Its heavy duty, but it comes with an easy assist folding feature that makes it easy to fold. The machine is also easy to push around and maneuver once it is folded. This makes it ideal for someone who needs to move it into a closet or corner after a workout. The Sole F80 is a space saver. Anyone in the market for at treadmill should definitely take a look at this machine. It's solid and easy to work with.

I learned that the Sole F80 model was upgraded in 2008 and it now comes with a powerful 3.0 continuous duty motor. The motor is very quiet and the machine is very smooth. It can easily handle a person up to 350 pounds with bogging down or straining the motor. I should note that this machine is for someone who walks or jogs. Serious runners should probably look for a machine that has a little more horsepower.

Sole Fitness is known for its outstanding warranties. The warranty on the Sole F80 is well above par offering a lifetime warranty on the motor, frame and deck. The price of the Sole F80 is less than what I would have thought, considering the durability, features and warranty that comes with the machine. Add the $500 instant savings when you purchase the machine directly from Sole Fitness, and I see why the Sole F80 is the number one choice for the Hilton Hotel chain and others. It's a great treadmill.

Sleep 8 Hours But Feel Tired?

by Susan Harris

Are you always tired? Do others report that you snore? Are you a tad or more overweight? If these are true, you may have sleep apnea.

If all these are true, don't wait! Sleep apnea could be shortening your life. Have your doctor prescribe a sleep study to find out whether you have sleep apnea. Sleep apnea is a condition where you are holding your breath and then gasping for air man times a night. Here's one reason why you shouldn't wait: it will shorten your life. You are at increased risk of stroke, heart attack, and other cardiovascular disease including aneurism. Here's the other reason why you shouldn't wait: there's treatment.

Here is what happens in sleep apnea: the airway collapses when you breathe in. Fatty tissue lining the airway makes the airway less elastic. So sleep apnea is a condition caused by overweight, generally speaking. Snoring typically accompanies it.

The airway collapses. Then the blood oxygen level falls. Blood pressure goes way up as a result. The sleeper, struggling to breathe, starts to wake up. Nearly waking up, the sleeper is able to complete the breath. Then he falls asleep again. The cycle can be repeated many times per minute. If a stopped breath lasts 10 seconds, it is defined as sleep apnea.

The spiking blood pressure is what wears out the cardiovascular system. The semi-conscious effort is what deprives you of sleep.

You probably are not aware that you are holding your breath while sleeping. What is obvious to you is the tiredness that comes with it.

Studies show that the spiking blood pressure countless times per night correlates wtih increased risk of cardiovascular disease. This condition, in fact, can kill you.

There's treatment?

An effective treatment method has been developed over the past few decades. The continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) device consists of a face mask, an air hose, and a fan in side a box. The fan supplies pressure through the hose to your airway. It's not too much pressure–you can easily breathe out — but when you breathe in, it boosts the airway pressure enough to prevent collapse.

One downside is that the mask can be uncomfortable. But a variety of suppliers offer options now, one of which will probably fit your face.

Another downside is that you have to wear it whenever you lie down to sleep. If you go traveling or camping, you still have to wear it.

The fan makes a noise, but it's a white noise that may actually help you fall asleep.

So, do a quick risk analysis. Is the risk of early death worth the inconvenience of wearing a mask and finding an electric outlet whenever you fall asleep?

They look as if the skin has been poked with an icepick, hence the name. They're typically too deep to be treated with simple dermabrasion or even laser resurfacing and you can get a scientifically proven acne treatment here.

Boxcar scars are similar, except they tend to be flatter on the bottom, rather than narrowing to a point like icepick scars. Since they're often shallower they can sometimes be treated with acne resurfacing techniques .

Keloid scars are firm and grow beyond the site of the injury. They're characterized by an excess production of collagen. They often result in a shiny pink or red scar.
