How to Lose Weight Fast

Many believe it is difficult to lose weight fast but I have found a way to lose 20 pounds in 30 days using a liquid diet. The nice thing about a liquid diet is that you will lose weight fast by using a variety of 100 calorie meals.

The diet, consisting of protein powder meals give you plenty of variety consisting of bars, shakes, pudding, chilli, oatmeal, soups, snacks, and cold drinks. For this reason, the different product keep you satisfied and keep you on the diet.

By eating a large variety of liquid diet products such as bars, shakes, chilli, cocoa, oatmeal, snacks, and soups you will be satisfied and stay on this diet.

By limiting you carbohydrates in this diet your body goes into a mild ketosis causing the body to burn fat and at the same time you are not hungry.

It takes about 2 to 3 days for your body to go into mild ketosis, and once that happens you want to make sure that you continue on the diet by limiting carbohydrates so you do not kick out of ketosis. The atkins diet sometimes does not cause people to eat enough carbs and by doing there could be damage to the kidneys with too strong a ketosis.

Another part of this diet is exercise since exercise will cause the body to increase it's metabolism and burn more fat.

This diet is called a 5 and 1 diet since the dieter is eating 5 liquid protein meals and one "lean and green" meal made up of lean protein, such as chicken, fish, and turkey, and a green salad or cup of steamed vegetables.

I first hand have lost 25 pounds in 3 months on this diet, it works because a person can easily stay on this diet and not feel hungry. As a person reaches their goal weight they can use the liquid diet meals as "fast food" or 100 calorie snacks. Should they notice weight gain, they can go back on the liquid diet.
